With a never-ending range of controversy continuing to surround one brand (sounds like Jewel), Altria has decided to make the tough decision to trade its 35 percent share. Just three days later, Altria Group purchased NJOY Holdings for $2.75 billion in cash and could increase $500 million if the FDA grants approval of the flavored NJOY Ace Pods. NJOY sells two FDA-approved products, and now this means there aren't any FDA-approved products sold by brands that aren't owned by big tobacco.
Elf Bar quickly became one of the largest disposable vape brands, and it managed to do so rather quickly. However, they were recently sued for trademark infringement and forced to change their brand name in the U.S. As a result, Elf Bar has changed its name to EBDesign.
