If you haven't been keeping up with recent industry news, you're in for quite the show. We'll start off with a piece of news that could bring hope to you, your family, and friends that vape. The "We Vape We Vote '22 Tour" launched on October 8th, in Arizona. Partners of the group include Americans for Tax Reform (ATR), American Vapor Manufacturers Association (AVM), Consumer Advocates for Smoke-free Alternative Association (CASAA), and Iowa Vape Association.
The tour, originally named "The Right to Vape Tour", first came into existence in 2016. It's where organizations came together and traveled across the country, stopping at vape shops, parks, and state capitals to discuss the future of vaping. The "We Vape We Vote '22 Tour" will carry out a similar mission by creating discussions with lawmakers, rallies at vape shops, voter registration drives, and more.
In more news, China's new ban on flavored vapes began on October 1st. Don't worry, though, you'll still be able to buy your favorite disposable vapes and mods, as normal. The ban on flavors aren't likely to affect vape products that are being exported to different countries, such as the United States. However, residents in China are going to suffer due to the flavor ban (only tobacco flavor) and new vape regulations that rolled out. China also banned open system vaping devices, they banned synthetic nicotine, and only allows up to 20mg nicotine strength in closed system vaping devices (aka disposable vapes).
