The Latest Industry News
The mayor of New York City, Eric Adams, alongside the city's counsel has filed a lawsuit against four distributors that sell vapor products, and six people that have been illegally selling flavored vapor products in the state. They're being accused of mail and wire fraud, violation of the city's code, public health law, and even the tobacco control act. Ultimately, the four distributors and six people are being hit with racketeering charges.
If you've been keeping up with our entries of the latest news here on West Coast Vape Supply, you may remember reading about the flavor ban Ohio faced. We are pleased to share that Ohio Governor Mike DeWine has vetoed the preemption measure, which was a part of HB 33 that was set to ban flavors (it was a part of the state budget bill that would ban flavored tobacco and nicotine alternative products).
