The SMOK Nord collection of products is one of the industry's longest-running series on the market. With its debut in November 2018, the SMOK Nord Vape Pod System quickly became one of the industry's most popular devices. It was at a time when vape pods were just gaining traction, and the original Nord set out to steal the attention with as many as 39 color options that would be released throughout the next year. Moving forward to January 2020, the SMOK Nord 2 was released, now utilizing the new RPM Coil Series and sporting a higher battery capacity and an increased wattage output (up to 40W).

Not long after, in August 2020, SMOK released the Nord X, which distanced itself from the Nord coils and completely adopted both RPM and RPM2 coils. It also features an increased 60W output, along with a waterproof, dustproof, and shockproof design. At the end of 2020, November 2020 to be exact, the Nord 4 was released, receiving a higher battery capacity, an 80W output, the same coil series, and design, yet introduced an adjustable airflow control system. The Nord continues to evolve with even more products launching, including the Nord 50W, Nord Pro, Nord 19, Nord 22, and more to come.
