In other news, it was recently announced that Philip Morris International (Big Tobacco), the maker of the IQOS heated tobacco products, has acquired approximately 90% of stock shares in Swedish Match. Under its control, Philip Morris has a massive portfolio of non-combustible tobacco and nicotine products since Swedish Match is the world's leading manufacturer of nicotine pouches and snus products. Big Tobacco just keeps getting bigger... go figure!
